Gulf BPG at AIPPI UAE IP Clinic for Start-ups and SMEs

Gulf BPG delegate attended this session, organized by AIPPI UAE, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy & Tourism, the UK Intellectual Property Office (UK IPO), and the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA). This marks the second panel discussion and IP clinic aimed at supporting start-ups and SMEs across the UAE.

The session focused on practical strategies to help emerging businesses identify, protect, and leverage their intellectual property rights, while highlighting the role of national and international institutions in encouraging innovation and supporting IP-driven business growth.

The event brought together distinguished speakers and experts from the UK IPO and CIPA, including Dr. Daniel Chew, Dr. David Moreland, Glyn Truscott, Dan Rusby-Gale, Alex Rogers, David Clarke, Sarah Roberts-Favell, and Sanaz Javadi Farahzadi, who shared insights on practical IP strategies relevant to start-ups and SMEs.
