The first topic discussed was the Principles of IP Valuation in Europe\, presented by Dr. Pierre Berbinau\, Co-President of the International relations Committee of the CNCPI\, European\, and French Patent Attorney\, CNCPI\, France and Mr. William Hammond\, Co-President of the Committee of the Fiscality and IP Financial valuation of the CNCPI\, European\, and French Patent Attorney\, CNCPI\, France. \nThe second topic covered IP Due Diligence in M&A Contexts\, presented by Mr. Hussam Abu Hamdeh\, Board Member of Gulf BPG and Regional Legal Advisor – Gulf & Arab Countries at Ferrero. This session highlighted the crucial role of IP due diligence in mergers and acquisitions and the various aspects to consider during the process. \nThe final topic discussed was IP Valuation: Methods and Trends\, presented by Mr. Hady Khawand\, Secretary of AIPPI-UAE\, Board member of Gulf BPG\, and Partner at Saba IP. This session explored the different methods used to value IP assets and the latest trends in the field. \nThe webinar ended with a Q&A session where attendees could ask questions and clarify any doubts they may have had about IP Asset Valuation. \nOverall\, the 1st IP webinar for 2023 was a great success\, with attendees gaining valuable insights and information from the esteemed experts in the field.
